The 100% Participation Campaign
A two-week campaign from March 22 - April 3, 2021, supported by 45 of our founding nonprofit partner organizations and 30 celebrity ambassadors, Orphan Myth focused on the collective commitment to one big idea: it will take 100% of us to get 100% of children into a safe and loving family.
Through this campaign, Orphan Myth aimed to:
increase public awareness,
mobilize supporters,
and gather resources
to enlarge the funnel of the public participation in family-based solutions for children separated from their families and those at risk of separating from family – both globally and in the United States.
Our Ambassadors
Whether through a video message or a post on social media, each ambassador played a critical role in raising awareness about foster care and orphan care.

Matched you and your team with vetted non-profit organizations to support best practice solutions for children and families through advocacy and fundraising.
Raised funds that went towards the organizations of your choice. This will help support their proven solutions for every child to belong in a loving family.
Supported partnered non-profit organizations that are dedicated to reunifying & preserving existing families and identifying new local families when there is no other option.
After a few days together in Chicago and originally inspired by the work and mission of Hopeland, an Orphan Myth partner, both Fain and O'Neal wrote their song, "Hope," about the strength of vulnerable children in both the foster care system and orphanages around the world. Both Fain's and O'Neal's young daughters lent their voices to the song, as well as to the song's artwork.

As part of the campaign's commencement, world-renowned musicians and composers Tim Fain (concert violinist and composer featured in films such as Black Swan and Moonlight) and Sleeping At Last (moniker of Chicago-based singer-songwriter, producer, and composer, Ryan O'Neal) released a brand new song, with 100% of proceeds going toward Orphan Myth's 45+ charity partners for the first three months of its launch.
